Aliens Love Underpants by Claire Freedman and Ben Cort
![Picture](/uploads/2/3/6/8/23684543/1638005.jpg?151)
When little aliens fly down to Earth, they're not visiting because they want to meet the Earthlings. They simply want to steal everybody's underpants. Those silly aliens love underpants in all sizes and colors large or small, red or green and they especially like them in every kind of fabric. They think that Mom's pink, frilly panties are a perfect place to hide in from the earthlings, and Grandpa's woolly long johns make a fun place to play. This book is good to have in the classroom for the kids who like aliens and outer space. This is good to teach children the concept about science, and get them involved in a future subject.

One morning for breakfast Grandpa was flipping pancakes, and flipped one on Henrys head. After this happened Grandpa told them a story about a town called Chewandswallow. In this town the weather was not normal. It had weather events three times a day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The weather was not rain, snow, wind, or anything else, but food. People would know the forecast for the food day by day, and would make sure to always be prepared for when it would start. They would catch the food in anything they had, and whatever was left they kept for snacks, animals, or put into the ground for fertilizer. All of a sudden the food was becoming gross. The food did not taste good, and too much was coming at once or it was too big to handle. Houses were getting destroyed, places were getting littered with food, and to top it off they couldn’t eat all of it. It was no longer safe, people could not go to school or go out to play, they had to find safety. The towns people put bread together and all sailed off to find another safe place leaving their precious town. After this they never went back to Chewandswallow ever again.

"Franklin In the Dark" is about a turtle who is afraid of the dark and is afraid of getting in his shell. He sets off on an adventure in order to find other animals and ask them if they can help him become not afraid anymore. Each animal he encounters has a different fear that they are trying to face themselves, and offer there technique to him, but none of them are related to being afraid of the dark. So, when Franklin returns home to his mother, he tells her what each one was afraid of. At the end of the book, Franklin finally gets inside his shell, and before he falls asleep, he turns on his flashlight. This book is a great book for children, especially when it comes to talking about fears and how they can overcome them.

First she seeks the advice of the wise old owl. This involves a hair-raising flight on the back of a crow, straight to the owl's home in the trunk of an old tree in the woods. The owl advises Mrs Frisby to seek the help of the rats. These rats, they have electric lights and lifts and they teach their young to read. Pigs Can't Fly by Ben Cort
![Picture](/uploads/2/3/6/8/23684543/9545138.jpg?141)
This book is about a pig that thinks being a pig is so boring. He goes and tries to make himself into different animals because he thinks that they will be more fun. In the end he finds another pig that is having fun in a mud puddle and he decides that is what he would like to do. I think this book would be good for students because it teaches the lesson that you need to have fun by being yourself and do not try to be anything that you are not.

The Sneetches by Dr. Seuss
![Picture](/uploads/2/3/6/8/23684543/5761336.jpg?173)
There were two differen kinds of Sneetches. The Plain-Belly Sneetches and the Star-Belly Sneetches. The stars were very little, but they made these Sneetches snooty. They did not play, eat, or talk to the Palin belly Sneetches. They were not invited to the roasts or picnics or parties. This is how they were always treated. Then one day Sylvester McMonkey McBean came to town with his machine. He gave the entire plain belly Sneetches a star or their belly. Now they were the same, but the star bellied Sneetches did not like this. So they got in the machine and took their stars off still being the best. This went on and on. Stars were going on and getting taking off. Once they ran out of money the man left. Now they were all mixed up some had stars some didn’t, and they were all the same. Sylvester McMonkey McBean left with his machine and all the money he got that day. You can never teach a Sneetch.
